This small-scale park is in the middle of the beautiful Ourthe Valley and on the edge of the forest. The tourist town of Hotton, with shops, restaurants and of course the Ourthe is only 3 km away. The park is especially suitable for families with smaller children. The location, however, also makes it an especially good choice as a home base for adventure activities: marked hiking routes, kayaking on the Ourthe, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing and rappelling (abseiling) climbing rocks are 2 km awaygolf, a mini-beach in Hotton, etc. In the evenings you can also go out for a nice dinner in one of the many fine dining establishments.
The bungalows are furnished to be functional. There is a playroom, among other things, for children in the park. There is also a tavern with a large terrace (opened during the school holidays).
Other sights worth seeing in the area are: The Thousand and One Caves of Hotton, the towns of Durbuy and La Roche, Weris with its authentic dolmens and menhirs and the tourist steam train of Erezée.
The swimmingpool is open from June till August.
As of 2012 there is no longer reception on the park. There is a check-in machine for arrivals on the park. This machine only accepts bank cards (Maestro/Mastercard, Bancontact, Visa) for ancillary costs, no cash.
